Wall upholstery is an old French technique that was been around for centuries.  In its most basic form it is fabric being sewn together, then stretched tightly over a padded surface.

There are many different styles an applications, from stretched tight and flat to more full and tufted. From traditional with a double welt or gimp trim, to a more modern look with clean lines and no trim at all.  From an accent or headboard wall to the whole room covered and matched with a flowing pattern.  From the backs of bookcases or armoires to upholstered drawers.  The possibilities for customization are endless.
